Dear Parents / Carers
On behalf of all the staff I would like to welcome you to our school website. It is designed to give you a glimpse of our school and contains useful information for parents and carers. At Ysgol Penyffordd it is our priority to ensure that all children deserve and receive every opportunity to thrive.
I am very proud to be the Headteacher and have the privilege to be working with a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic staff body, who all believe that every pupil deserves the opportunity to succeed. We are passionate about inspiring our young people every single day, enabling them to thrive.
Our vision, mission and core values co-written by pupils, staff and governors are:
To inspire a love of learning now and forever and to establish the foundations of life. We intend to achieve our vision and mission through our core values of Respect, Challenge, Curiosity, Enjoyment, Pride, and Nurture.
We have high standards in what we expect for behaviour, uniform and the effort we expect from our pupils. We aim to equip our pupils for all stages in their academic education and give them strong foundations for the future.
We hope our website will give you a greater insight into our school. Meetings for prospective parents who would like to learn more about our school are held by appointment. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange a tour of the school.
